"I engage a pointillistic form of impressionism, using colors which evoke an ethereal sense.  My aim is to render my   subjects in a diffused  reality,  incorporating the haze of memory, adorned with light."

Dianne Winford is professionally trained receiving her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in painting and drawing from Southern Methodist University.  She worked in graphic arts for several Dallas and Fort Worth area firms in animation and advertising.

Having begun initially with commissioned portraits, she sought a more personal and unique mode of expression.  Her instinct led her to a rediscovery of pointillism.

Her work hangs in fine homes in California, Texas and Mexico.
